The Golden Sun games are good if you like RPGs... actually the Pokémon games are great too. Also you probably shouldn't rule out Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga... it's a very funny and enjoyable RPG.

Zelda: The Minish Cap is amazingly good...

And also... I liked Metroid Zero Mission a lot too.

Oh and be sure to try out Wario Ware and Wario Ware Twisted. I'm playing Wario Ware Twisted at the moment... it has a built in gyroscope.

Sell that Sonic Advance game. They are muck.

    Astroboy: Omega Factor
Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow (or any vania game, they're all good)
    Warioware twisted
    Zelda: Minish Cap
    Golden Sun 1+2

Don't get Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. It's really dull and Advance Wars and Fire Emblem are far better games.

WarioWare (Came out on GBA before DS)
Mario Vs Donkey Kong (Excellent Puzzle game with Donkey Kong Like Graphics)
    Max Payne
    Splinter Cell
    Colin McRae 2.0
Astro Boy: Omega Factor (a bit kiddy graphics wise but very good)
    Metal Slug
    Mario Kart

I'd Recommend the Legend of Zelda - a link to the past if it can be got on GBA, I loved it on SNES years ago, Seeming that a lot of GBA's games are SNES re-launches if it can be got on GBA give it a whirl. Are the Gameboy DS games new or re-launches of the Nintendo 64?
