The tickets go on sale in France today at 8 GMT.

You can get them from this site, in English, and they send them to Ireland for an extra €5.

    Was that 8am GMT?

There don't seem to be any at the moment. Just France v. Italy (and club games). Or did they sell out during the day.

I am looking for 4 if anyone knows of a source (not interested in a package).

Just to let you know, the tickets that went on sale to the French public were sold out after only 20 minutes.

www.lastminute.com seemed to have some fairly competitive packages when I was browsing last night.

I'm not interested in a package as I have already booked accomodation.

E-bay and other ticket sites are well over what I would be willing to pay.

If something doesn't turn up before I head over, I'll just hit the Irish bars the night before and morning of the game and hope for the best.

If anyone has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate hearing from them.

I live in Paris so if I hear of any going on sale I'll post here with the details.

I can also make a quick list of the bars where you'd be most likely to pick up 'spare' tickets.

I would also appreciate that Ponster, me and the missus will be in Paris on the 8th, so will have a bit of time to trawl around for tickets if we know where to go. It's going to be a cracker of a game and I'd hate to be in Paris looking at the outside of the Stade de France at kickoff :(

    Not to worry.

I came up with a website (travellinggreens.com) for the France Vs. Ireland soccer match in 2004 listing all the place to go and where not to go. I'll try to do something for the rugby crowd too :)
