I have a bunch of Videos, all of them using various codecs. Now Windows Media Player plays all of them except the Real Player ones. I dont want to install Real Player as i just dont like it, is there any way i could get these files to play on Media Player? Is there maybe just a Real Player Codec i could install?

    Cheers :)

I use mplayer2 and media player classic. Can't stand any of the silly big name ones, but if I had to choose, I'd definitely pick WMP9 over Realplayer!

There's a fantastic program called VLC Media Player that can play almost anything. Its never failed to play something I had.

If you google the name i'm sure you'll find it there somewhere. However Real Alternative is probably your best plan for Media Player

VLC is alright, a bit annoying though..

Best route I would say is the Media Player Classic with Realplayer alternative. You can even set Media Player 10 as the default for real files!

BTW, you can do the same with Quicktime Alternative ;)
