Howdy, bit of a strange request, but I need to track down at least two life-size (human size!) Oscars statues for a party at work. Any ideas where I could get these in Dublin? Needed asap!

Try clicking here and posting the request there, or ask a mod to move this thread. I don't think there'll be too much of a response in here.

I won an Oscar in 1989 for my film "Handicapped People Are People Too"

    Handicapped People Are People Too

This movie tackles the prejudices and stereotypes that handicapped people face in today's society. It stars Brian Dennehy as Brad, a severely disabled man who is full of hate and bitterness about that incident years ago which cost him the use of his legs and penis. It shows how a successful softball player and straight A student was cruelly cast into the world of futility at age 17 when he was injured in a freak gas cooker explosion at school. Brad dreams that one day he will walk again, and with the help of an inspirational young college student, played by Lil' Bow Wow, he manages to fight his fears and try to muster the will to recover. It all builds up to an emotional scene where Brad tries to take that first step into the rest of his life. Unfortunately, he still can't walk and falls down the stairs, now losing the use of his hands. A powerful drama.

Setting aside your "joke" for a minute, unless when you won your oscar, they gave you a 6 foot tall oscar, you are of no help too him.

No , back to your "joke". it was lame.
