Wheres best place to set up online community?

    Wanna set up one of these but dont know best place.

    Its for a group of friends who are now living all over the place.. Just want to be able to post messages, and pictures.. There would probably be alot of pictures hence the need for bit extra storage

    Had a look at msn groups but storage is only something like 3mb otherwise you pay to get more..

    Anyone know of better place??

    you could request a private forum here on boards.ie only you and your friends would be able to see/post. you could also request a public forum, it is up to yourself.

    Also if ye all communicate using the same instant messenger, say MSN you can set up an MSN group or Yahoo you could set up a yahoo group.

    The advantage of the MSN/Yahoo groups is that if ye have the respective messenger, you dont have to register again as your login and password would be valid.
