    guys,

    I have a nortel Sip client on my pd that is using at the mo. i am looking to connect a CISCO 7960 Ip phone. Does anyone know if i need to put a new image on the phone or how i configure this ?

    Yep you'll need a SIP fimrware image on your Cisco phone, they don't come with the SIP firmware by default. The protocol of the firmware image that is currently on the phone is usually listed on the top of the screen MGCP, SIP, SCCP (I think SSCP is what it uses for Skinny) etc.

    Tis indeed.
    If you have a legit phone (licence etc), you can log in to the Cisco site and download an image...
    I did consider it at one stage when I was testing with a 7912, but it wasn't worth the hassle for all the features i would get.
