BT BB, settings up a internal network

    Hey Guys,

having some trouble gettting my new modem (Zyxel Prestige 660RU) to play nice with my router (3Com Office Connect).

Connecting a computer directly to the modem, every thing is hunkydory, but if I connect it to the uplink on the router, the net goes dead.

My internal network is a mirror of work so that I don't have to change my laptops IP everytime I take it from home to work. I want to keep it this way if possible.

    Current Settings,
    Modem 192.168.1.1
    Router: 83.1.1.1
    PC 1: 83.1.1.100

I am using the cross over cable provided to connect the modem and router. Any suggestions on what configuration I should use?

One other question, what are the DNS servers for BT?
