Hi,
Unfortunately not everyone will be able to get this, as it's from ecost.com, but for those who may have a contact in the US, this deal is brilliant, a 30GB iAudio X5 that works out at about €225 after delivery:eek: These cost about €342 from mx2.co.uk and about €386 from peats. You could always use one of the US postal address forwarding sites, I forget the names of the good ones, perhaps somebody could recommend the best one to use?

Link
:)

Yeah I have used the "Shop The States" before.
They gave me an address in Pittsburgh, so you have to pay sales tax for that states on top of what you pay for the good.
I got priority shipping and it cost about $35 to send to here (DVD's, PC peripherals etc).
I would use them cause you can ask them to declare the value of your product and ask them to mark the item as a gift.

From Shopthestates site:

8. Will there be additional customs fees and taxes on my purchases when they enter my home country?
For document only purchases such as books there are usually no fees however parcel items are subject to additional fees and charges at the port of your home country based on a percentage of the value of the item/s. It is best to check with your local customs authority to determine such charges if you are concerned. Shop the States is not responsible for customs fees and we are unable to mark outgoing shipments as a gift.

Please do not request that Shop the States mark your shipments as 'gifts' for customs purposes as refusal may offend. Sorry!

No harm in asking;)

What the.....
I'm sure I just didn't post this an hour ago, it now says 36 hours remain and what was 4 remaining earlier on is now back to 7:) That's got to be a good thing, right?

So it's €227 including del to US address, €30 to Ireland & then €13.62 duty & €50.50 VAT

Makes it a total €321.12

It's €349 from iaccesorise.ie

It's not a bad saving at all if duty is taken out of the question :)

Clock has gone back to 39 hours and there are now 9 left. It must be bringing in sales in other departments too so they are probably keeping it up there.

Commited, could you provide the correct url for that .ie site you mentioned, I tried a few different ones with no result.

This is really only a bargain (and a great bargain at that) for people who may have a contact in the US who can send it on as a gift or perhaps anyone going to stay in the US and get it posted to their hotel room:)

Nice, £0.99 cheaper than www.mx2.co.uk:)

Not sure if the free delivery includes Ireland but if it does, that's pretty good and I'll be keeping an eye on them in the future.
