Already posted this on the Galway forum and got no bites....

I bought a Galway-Dublin return train ticket, and used half, then I unexpectedly got a lift back to Galway. So the other half is going to go to waste unless someone wants it. It's valid till January 27.

    What offers?

You do know the transferring of tickets is not allowed!

No! I didn't know! Why on earth not? What's wrong with someone else using a ticket that's otherwise going to go to waste? What a stupid idea!
