I am looking for a pup, preferable a lab and if possible cream. I know it's sad but my last dog was a cross bread cream lab that due to his cross breading looked like a lab but never got really big. He was basicly a slightly larger version of the andrex puppy.

I no longer live at home but my parents want a dog again and it has to be a pub as there is cats there also and i've always found it better to get a pup so he grows up with the cats.

Its for a country house so it will have plently of space to run about. Unfortunatly he will have to put up with my da talking to him on a daily basis as he seems to do this to all animals.

    Male pup would be prefered.

    Cheers

A genuine lab puppy from a good breeder is actually noticably smaller than many of the labs/lab x's usually seen.

Inistioge Puppy Rescue in Co Kilkenny have lab cross puppies on the small side at the moment, very cute, might have others as well:

Puppy Rescue Inistioge - Co Kilkenny - 0567758626
    Registered Charity No: CHY 13987

Also try ASH Animal Rescue in Wicklow; give them a call and they'll tell you what types and ages they have at the moment: http://ashanimalrescue.com/ .They haven;t updated all their dogs -- they have about 30 puppies at the moment! So don't go by what is on the website.

    Regards --

Lab mixes are one of the most common types in the country, besides collies/collie mixes. I'd say most rescues will have a nice pup you'll like.
