Blank entry in startup - what could it be?

I'm not sure what one of the entries in my startup list is doing - anyone have any ideas?

There are no details to google, and I guess I could disable it and see if the machine boots normally, but I'd rather ask here for advice first.

Is there another way to find out what this entry is loading?

It's most likely just a botched install or uninstall i.e. One that didn't complete and update the registry.
Check HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run et al. for the blank entry - and see if there is anything (unlikely!) .
Back up the registry entry affected. Set a restore point. Delete entry. Move on and keep anti-virus/spyware software up to date..

Cheers. I had a look in that area of the registry, and the blank entry is called MMTray in the first column. Google said that belongs to Music Match, a jukebox program I'm not using, so I can clear that off.

    thanks for the help
