Zen Firmware Problem

    Hey all,

    I got a 20gb Zen last week. It worked fine up till yesterday. It didn't fall or anything like that. When I try to turn it on i get "Rebuilding libary" and then when the status bar gets to 50% it says "Firmware problem"

    I have the latest firmware installed on it. I tried to get into recovery mode by putting a paper clip into the reset button and sliding over the power switch but nothing happened...it still went into rebuilding libary.....Any ideas?

    Dunno bout the latest zens, but I know to access recovery mode on the old ones you needed to hold the play button while resetting and powering up simultaneously. If you manage to get that far, then downlaod the latest firmware and reload it.

    Thanks for the help but no matter what I do it won't go into recovery mode for me....It keeps going into rebuilding libary and then says firmware problem....I have followed the instructions on how to get into recovery mode word for word!!

    i'm gettin the same problem and i need a solution quick any ideas
    its actually for my little sisters zen shes heart broken that shes gonna lose her stuff any ideas:confused:
