Computing degrees

I would be interessted in a career involing computers but am not sure what sort of degree to undertake.I have heard it can be hard to find employment in the computer industry.I was was just wondering if anyone has any advice or previous experience they could share.Thanks in advance.

Well, what area of computing are you interested in? The jobs situation is getting better - certainly a lot better now than it was 2 years ago. Just don't expect to walk straight out of college into a high paying one.
