I want to get hold of one of those. Any recommendations?

Picked up a Boss DD6 recently, nice. There are a few Line6 models which seem to get a lot of the regulars foaming at the mouth, Echo Park, I believe, being one of them.

Behringer are bringing out dirt cheap pedals at the moment, perhaps pick up one of those and use it to evaluate how much use you'd get out of a delay and how much you'd be ready to spend on a better one?

Yeah defo want to get a proper one.
Got a loan of a old Digitech that was pretty cool, with reverse and hold options. Tried DD6 in Musician inc at the weekend but you know yourself it's always busy in there at weekends so its not great to try out gear...

I'd say it really depends on specific needs & budget available.

I have heard good things about each of the Boss range of delay pedals DD-3 OR DD-6

These are likely to cost between €100 - €150 new.

Me too, I'm quite impressed with it. I think the Boss pedals are more versatile than the other brands but each of the other brands normally have a function that they do better than the Boss but for the money I think the DD6 is the best value (if you buy online) as you've got a lot of useful functions from short almost reverby delay to much longer delay times in the range of seconds, as well as the Hold function which is useful for laying down a rhythm and then you can play over it as it repeats indefinitely.

As for the Behringer ones, are the delay and reverb pedals available to buy yet? I haven't seen them for sale online anywhere but maybe I'm just overlooking them.

I have an old DD-2 and it does me just fine, i don't need any more than that tbh. I always imagine i'm Adrian Smith ca. '86 when i play through it :v:
