Line6 Pod XT Live - Power Supply

    Hi folks,
    I'm trying to locate a 3-pin power supply for my US bought XT Live. I contacted Line6 before i left the US and they said that in order to get it to work over here i just have to get a local power supply. I've checked Thomann and they have it (part: PX2) but I'm nervous of buying it as the display picture shows it with a 2-pin plug instead of the 3-pin I'm going to need for Ireland.

    Has anyone needed to buy a power supply ffor anything from Thomann before and had this issue? It may just be a case of snipping off the 2-pin and replacing with a 3-pin? Any thoughts?

    More than likely it will come with the 2-pin plug as pictured. But it is as simple as just clipping it off and wiring on a 3-pin plug, there's just no wire for earth.

    Yes, either that or you can get a small adaptor to change it into a three pin. Here's one on komplett:

    Friend of mine bought an XT live in that states also,
    he managed to get the Proper Line 6 Power supply in Musician
    inc on drury street for €30..

    They had a few of them in stock..

    yea ive a us podxt and i just got one of those convertor adapters works a-ok.. i tihnk it was somethin like 25 or 30
