Is a Sky minidish sufficient?

I want to get FTV from the Astra satellites. Is a 45cm Sky minidish sufficient for this in the South East of Ireland? I keep reading conflicting reports on this and I see houses around me with different sizes too.

I've used a dish this size (and a smaller one) in the east without any problems for astra 1, i have tested it with astra 2 and had no problems.

You'd really want the larger Zone 2 65cm Sky Mini dish when it rains.

The 45cm Mini Dish, even for Sky is really for UK mainland below Scotland.
