Thank God, after a bad week, and facing into European elimination, Munster restored some momentum to their shaky bid for the Celtic League title, we squandered large amounts of possession, we had no lineout for the last 30 minutes, we're still trying to get our centres working, and had a new winger and a second row playing 8 but we managed to be only the second team to beat Edinburgh in Edinburgh this season.

The Celtic League looks to be a 4 way contest, with Edinburgh, Leinster and Llanetli the remaining challengers. This league is a long way from over, and after next weekend I've a horrible feeling Munster will have an empty April for the first time in years. Conversly while Leinster may be back in third in the Celtic League, after the performaces of Glasgow and Bath this weekend, they must be Irish favourites to qualify for the quarter finals.

BTW, fair play to Reddan and Staunton for playing at halfback for Wasps today, hopefully they'll develop into realistic cover for Ireland.
