One timetable is titled "Dublin – Belfast – Monday – Saturday (excluding public holidays)", the other "Dublin – Belfast – Monday – Sunday (excluding public holidays)".

How about doing a timetable titled "Belfast - Dublin"?

    Can someone talk to someone?

Take the aircoach. It takes an hour longer but only cost €12 return and runs every hour.

There is the slight problem of it only going from Dublin Airport and it is only €12 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

The pdf file there now contains both directions.

It also goes from Dublin Airport to Belfast and back. You just need to buy one ticket and change coaches at the airport.

Didn't realise it was only €12 on limited days. Just checked, seems it is 12, 15 or 18 depending on the day. So, max €18 euros on a very nice coach to Belfast and back or €50 on the train for maybe getting a seat and €80 if you want a bot more comfort and be sure of a seat? Hmmm I know what I will be using next time I head up.

That is what I was referring to.

Having to wait twice, leaving enough time to make both coaches is not ideal unless you live on the airport-city-ballsbridge route. Certainly leaving only 30 minutes to make the connection would be a bit tight and the timings for the Airport-Belfast route are rather optomistic.

3.20-3.30 overall would be more like it.

Isn't there an extra charge for the transfer?

Bus Eireann run Hourly from Busaras for €17 return and have less stops. 2h30m for most services.
