Karen George bought this one last April out of the Dunlop yard after winning a selling race, rated [60] over 12f at Pontefract. There was a measure of interest in him at the auction and he went for £11k. Although it was a 6 runner seller the second horse Josear (with 6lb more) went on to achieve a novice hurdle rating of [100]. A shorter trip would probably suit better but the odds may be tempting, if greater than 14/1, even in this conditional jockey event.
