Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    * Excluding the Chessmaster series of course! :))

I'm actually looking through the old 8 bit and 16 bit series.

MasterChess (C64 1986) - Seems 1 player only but can modify chessboard.
    Colossus Chess 4 (C64 1985) - Again seems 1 player only.

Battlechess (Amiga 1987) - 2 player - and can save states

Quick Chess 2 (PC Freeware 2004)
(very small size .exe I can carry on my memory key - but can't save & resume).

Trying to avoid those bloated chess games. I will check out the speccie. Am interested in old small 2 player chess programs.
