Paintless dent removal?

Has anyone used this method to remove dents from paintwork? I've heard of it but never seen it in operation here, it seems very popular in the U.S. I tried a couple of numbers of people supposed to be doing it here but they never turn up. I have a small dent in the back door or my car and to repair it I might have to paint the side of my car which I really don't want to do. Does anyone have a number of someone doing this in the Cork area? I'd be interested to hear of any experiences people have of this method. Thanks.

If it's a big, football sized dent, use a plunger, it will pop the metal right out, I did that on the boot of a friends Yaris, it left a tiny dent still though, didn't pop fully. Another idea is to remove the door interior panel and hit with something from behind, and use something soft to cushion the blow

I got my CLK done in December !

Some a55hole opened their door onto it..................the car was faultless apart from that and it really annoyed me. I couldn't stand it so having spotted the dent I called up and the guy came out the next morning. He fixed it perfectly in 10 minutes for €60 !

I was delighted and while he was there the other guys in my office asked about various marks on their BMW's/Audi's etc. He came back 2 days later and fixed all of them for a good package price !

We were all delighted, some of the dents were quite nasty ! I've used this guy before and he is going to do the dents on the aluminium doors on my '64 Pagoda before it goes to the bodyshop, that'll save them from using any filler on there ! :D
