I did this before though, and I needed something like 4 planets. That's what I get for moving out, I suppose.

1.8 planets mostly due that tree huggin website not liking my meat eating ways it seems. Which is weird, beacause surely vegetables and crops take up far more of the earths resources than moo-cows, and factory chickens

:v: < when do we get our planets btw?

X number of planets to do what precisely? Keep having this madly hedonistic lifestyle? I'm kinda lost... I understand the concept, but the argument is a bit skewed...

Has anyone got less than one?

What's with the metric fuel consumption, by the way. Does anyone in Ireland know how many litres per 100km they get?

    Pointless stupidity tbh.

They seem to think that if I spent every day sitting around in a wooden shack not eating it would make the world a better place. I bet these are the same people who think that the Ethiopians should have lots of food, all the mod cons of the west and be involved in global trade. So if I live like an Ethiopian while all the Ethiopians live like me, that'll make the world a better place ?

Yes. Because the stereotypical starving Ethiopian doesn't spam like you. :p

Indeed, it's a bit stupid. The minimum you can get is 0.8. Which is making a gigantic, gigantic assumption that the planet can only support a population provided that
    a) We all live as strict vegans
    b) Eat no processed food
    c) Generate minimal waste
    d) Live with 7 or more people....
    e) ...In a house that's less than 30 square metres in floorspace....
    f) ....That's economically designed....
    g) ...And by "economical" we mean "no electricity"
    h) Walk everywhere instead of taking public tranport, personal transport or aircraft

Sounds like a painful, boring existence to me. I got 4.3. Yay for hogging resources! \o/

That was the most ill-compiled bit of statistical analysis I've come across in a while. That quiz assumes EVERYbody drives and makes a few other assumptions which skew the results.

I'd take that fluff with a pinch of salt to be honest.

its just illustrative ,seriously though things have to change if not now then in future, supposedly the yanks are the worst as based on the average yanks consumption of resources we would need 3 planets, thats a lot considering its based on an average, when the developing countries catch up with the west we're fu<ked
