How to get to The Marshes, Newry

    Hi

    Can anyone give me directions to the GAA ground in Newry (The Marshes, yes?). Coming from Dublin on the M1/A1.

    Its quite simple really.

    Follow the M1/A1 from Dundalk towards Newry, through the new system and about a mile from the town there is a roundabout.

    Take the far right hand side exit, which goes under a railway brdige. Follow this road all the way down throught the traffic lights, past the buttercane and quays shopping centers. And go up to the traffic lights that are ahead and take the lane to go staright through.

    You will cross the canal and at this point road spilts into four lanes, take either of the first two on the right hand side, these will take out the road towards warrenpoint. Follow this road and it will lead you to a large roundabout and you will see on the far right hand side the Marshes.

    Theres normally is plently of parking round that area.
