Non Standard Bracket for Dish

I'm looking for a bracket that will clear the eve of the house and rise above the tiles by about 2 feet. The bracket would have to be drilled to the wall then turn outwards to clear the facia & soffit and then rise to about 2 feet above the roof. Is there anything available or do I have to get a welder to make one for me? I'm not sure of the size of the dish but it's for Sky so it is probably standard.

Tried both Maplins and Urlans TV nad neither seem to have what I require. Maplins have one but it's too short and Urlan have another type and again it's too short as neither will clear the roof.

    Any other ideas.

    Tony,

The step out from the wall would want to be about 6 inches and the step up to clear the roof would have to be about 9 inches. Any siggestions?
    Thanks,

    I have these

    I find them pretty useful.
I am in Cork, not really possible to post it so it would have to be picked up.

Electrical Factors in Crossagalla Industrial Est (just of Tipp road near Childers Roundabout) has various brackets and poles. Buckleys on corner has longer stronger poles (but you buy a 20ft length).

EF are very helpful. Don't be put off by them being a wholesaler.

They have had in past a pair of long brackets to reach past edge of roof and then you bolt in a 1.5" or 2" pole long enough to lift dish above roof.

Their TV/MMDS poles are too slight for an 80cm dish, but should be OK for a Sky Minidish. AS long as the dish is only just above roof. Longer pole means fatter pole needed.

6 inches doe not sound much to be honest, usually two stand off brackets and a pole could be used, these coem as 18 or 24 inch versions usually. The bracket rippy has would also work if the pole crank if long enough

Rippy's bracket looks the business but is it strong enough. Does anyone know what size is the Sky Dish?
The other concern I have with Rippy's is could it twist around in the wind, there doesn't seem to be anything to prevent this.

Sky dish is 65cm x 40cm approx lightweight mesh (Zone2). There is a smaller one sometimes incorrectly used here.

Rippy's pole assembly should be OK, as the dish isn't that big, though I'd usually use the method Tony mentioned.

Usually a dish can fit on a 1.5" pole, though I've experienced some where the supplied U bolts are too short to go around the pole. You could I suppose use a 1.25" pole though it could sway depending on the height. A 2" pole could be used in conjuntion with a double-Shelley clamp, though that might look messy! :)
