    It was a big price and there was reason to believe it might run well. These things can go both ways. Every facet of the media were touting Afrad all week and he ran the worst race of any horse today but he turned out to be lame. Iloveireland, I know you're aware that these things can happen and it's nice to hear some reasons why a long shot might run well, even if it doesn't turn out to be the case.

    I know how you feel. Its a terrible feeling posting a tip on this board and then seeing it run like that! The reason i posted it was because the same guy tipped 'The Fench Furze ' along similar lines last week and it came in at 12/1.

    keep them comming.i love seeing people post up tips for complete outsiders

    you dont have to risk as much money and if it wins you win more.
    at the end of the day it is the person himself putting on the bet.you are only making suggestions.

    still ran a stinker though.
