looks good alright but being a memory stick, there's bound to be an exploit for your precious homebrew 4xcut ;)

but to use the 8 gig one an update is needed as the psp only supports 4 gig max atm. this would mean even more secure firmware. on 2.0 now and happy but don't to update further.

4Xcut, I'm going to 2.0 myself. Long live the days of UMD emulation but lord knows I want new games to work.

aye 2.0 is the bes imo as it gives homebrew, emulation, apps, etc. and there's enough games that run on it to keep me busy till 2.5+ is cracked.

Note:Anyone who is updating only go to 2.5 as opposed to 2.6 because 2.6 is dead buggy.

2.6 doesn't really have anything to update for anyway. RSS is pretty useless, as it the podcatching thing which only tells you when a podcast is updated, as opposed to downloading it

Is anyone thinking what I'm thinking? No?... why would the PS3 really need a hard drive? And if theses work with the Sony Ericsson Walkman phones it's a great boost for them too.

Anyway, I don't like to gloat, but I remember not so long ago someone on boards telling me the Memory Stick format was dead.

I dont think it will ever compete with mmc/sd or cf cards for market share. Purly a niche product, people upgrading cameras etc wont buy a sony camera that requires duo cards if they already have sd cards.

But your right i can see the ps3 having duo card readers for media support sony are that stupid and greedy to do it.

They said they will have Memory Sticks readers on the PS3. About Memory Sticks being a niche product, it is, but once you got one camera/phone/PSP/PS3/mp3 player etc with support you might buy another with support, it might not be the only reason to buy such, but its another.
