I'm going to find out today and I'll post later. I intend to register tomorrow myself. I don't think there will be any problem with that but I'll check.

No need to pre-register. PokerEvents are not exactly shy about accepting money, certainly not known for turning people away! ;)

looking at the structure seems a bit sh|te for a 250

i think the 500 today is a bit better if ye have it spare

never mind, they're the same as the 500!

Both structures are the same and neither are great value for the size of buy in and reg fee.

The structure for the 250 is grand for the size of buy in. You get more chips and longer levels than the Fitz 250 plus there has to be something in place to get from approx 500 players to 1 in one night. This one could go on for a while as the blinds are frozen at 15k/30k. Even for a 500 game it is not too bad. A lot of UK casino's would have a worse structure for a 750 sterling game.

Remember folks there is going to be a massive field and most likely €125,000 in the pool for the €250.

Wow, are they really expecting 500 runners for the €250 game? I was half thinking of playing...what time are cards in the air if they plan to finish that night?

Initially I doubt it, but if over 250 bought in direct for the €1000 game? I know about 20 of the Drogheda locals are heading down for it, I'd be surprised if it does not sell out. what does it matter about the finish time,is anybody going in to work the next day after winning €50k?

4..are u sure? pokerevents.ie says 3. although it also says the 500 game is on at 3 which it wasn't and is why I'm not there.

I've decided if I win the entry fee online today, or close to it...yes.

If not, I'll sit it out.

I'm about to start "Super MTT Saturday !! "

So you'll be playing then !. Oh by the way, is that deal you offered binding. Nice call by the way.

    Update!!

Culchie just won a $5 rebuy mtt on vegas baby, yes his own site, the audacity. Controversially though, he agreed a deal when down to 2 players and simultaeneously bet at a 9 high flop, cheeky  . Other player then goes all-in, :D some deal eh. Anyhow, gentleman culchie duly obliges with a top pair muck kicker call, (no suprises there eh) to win it outright?.
    Deal my arse!

great Game Snapper, my heart was in my mouth when I came over your raise when down to 3, with Q 10 .... I was bricking it.

Regarding 'deal' I offered it to him the hand before, we were to fold to the BB and we'd ping a manager, and he said 'sure'.

He then went back on this and made up the big blind, with me being dealt 9 4.

flop came 9 8 3 (i think) .... time was running out so I bet the min bet, he then went over the top of me all-in, so it was him who didn't follow any suggested deal.

I then had the clock ticking on whether my top pair, muck kicker was any good.

I said 9 4 ..... he said 9 5 .... and that made my mind up I had to call, thinking that a split pot would be the outcome (if he was telling the truth).

    He had J 8 and didn't improve.

Controversial I guess alright though, but it was him that broke the deal.

    Don't talk to me!

I got there at 5.55pm and they were on level 2 so I asked can I still get in, "we're taken names and get you in soon as possible"

Great! I go for a drink come back and my name was taken off and was told I wouldn't be playing.

    Very very very p|ssed off!

Should be there for the 250 tho!
