    Heard rumours of cheap PC with GoogleOS ..

    Should be out by now .. anyone heard anything? :o

    That thread discussed the rumour of the google os pc.. and then fizzled out.

    This thread is for any announcement that is FACT. But I don't mind if you want to add something *constructive* and ADD something to the other thread on what was announced ( if anything )

    the post that said the denied it at 00:08 .. ? .. they always deny everything .. my original question was "Did Google announce anything at CES 2006 ?" .. what part of this do you not understand?

    Well,considering Larry Page isn't speaking yet.. I don't undertsand how you expect to find out... unless I'm missing something re: space and time...

    A wish that standards are good (USB used as an example)

    Seemed to show Google maps/Earth on handheld devices
