A 48 hour day

    I wonder if it was bright for twice as long and dark for twice as long as it usually is, would we still feel like sleeping half way through the day or would we adapt to sleep and average of 16 hours a night and be awake without getting tired until about the 31st hour! Hmmmmm:v:

    there was an extra second added to last year at one second to midnight on new years eve as the earth is slowing down and days are getting longer by a millisecond a year or something miniscule like that,in a few billion years a day may be a lot longer!

    In daylight deprivation trials, people were found to adapt to 20 hour days, consistant with the 20 hour days present X hundred million years ago.
