PSP Upgrade issue

Ok I so had downgraded from 2.0 to 1.5, I went to upgrade today and when I clicked on the upgrade icon I couldn't see anything but a blue screen with x and o on the bottom and right and left on the sides, basically I can't see th text or options. Now I eventually got it to downgrade but guessing the keystrokes but has…
