Has anybody else used UKDVDR in Margate in Kent,UK ? www.ukdvdr.co.uk

I placed an order with them on Wed 4th Jan at 9:40am and I have just received it in Cavalaire, South of France on Friday 6th Jan at 1:45pm.

    Full tracking info via InterlinkExpress
    http://www.interlinkexpress.com/service/tracking?consignment=903126254

    Here's what I bought

    2 * 50 spindles Titanium DVD-R Printable 4.7gb UK 15.30
    1 *100 spindle Datawrite CDR 80mins UK 7.65
    1 * 10 spindle Bulpaq DVD+RW UK 4.25

    Shipping cost (1228kms !) UK 7.99

    Vat @ 17.5% UK 6.16

    Total UK 41.35 => Euro 60.80

I'm very happy as media prices in France are quite high and ordering with bank transfers etc is a bit of a pain.

    Full marks I say.

Would be interested in getting some DVD+RW? Does any one know where the best place to get them is?

    Hagar
I think your total is wrong.
I got 56.65 GBP adding them?

    I have corrected it.
The dvd spindles were 7.65 each, total 15.30 which I then doubled again.:o
The invoice total is UK 41.35.

UKDVDR are a very good company
Themselves ,SVP and Diskdepot.co.uk are the 3 companies I use regularly and they are all excellent.
2 Day delivery to Ireland from all of them.

    I use bigpockets.co.uk

Anyone have any opinion on them re the other companies mentioned. I've found them quick and reliable in my three experiences. Cheap as far as I was aware for blank media, cases and particularly DVD RW drives (from 30sterling).

Also a lot of gadgets etc (got a refurbished portably DVD player for 30 sterling a few months ago - its basic but its fine for the kids - I got my TV back).

Also have ink for epson printers which looks cheap.

    Example: 8x DVD-R: spindle 50 - from 8 sterling.

The only thing which puts me off them is a 15 sterling delivery charge to Ireland so I usually combine a few things and possibly involve a couple of other people to cut it down a bit.

I've bought very cheap Canon compatible ink from them. The ink is good quality too. Haven't used them for anything else yet.

Flat rate postage of €20 (last time I used them anyway) no matter what you buy so it's good to buy in bulk.
