Number of sites on a VPS?

I'm currently looking at webintellect's base VPS plan (linux 256Mb RAM guaranteed, 15Gb space, 500Gb traffic). I'm looking at hosting 20-25 sites with initial expected daily traffic of about 100 visitors each. The sites will be php/mysql driven news type sites with a phpbb forum. I know I'll have enough bandwidth and diskspace, but I'm worried about performance with that many sites. Can anybody speculate as to whether this VPS willperform okay for me?

As a secondary question, I was wondering if anybody has had dealings with webintellects. Am I even allowed to ask that here since they closed the hosting forum?

Consider using better forum software. But it should probably be okay... I run a site with forum with 2600 visitors a day (I wrote the forum software myself tho) along with various other sites on an 80mb UML system.

And for stuff about hosts, try http://webhostingtalk.com

Thanks for the advice. Signed up on Friday.

I already have significant loyalty to phpbb and invested a lot of time in it - custom hacks and styles

Been lurking there for a few months now - good site
