    Windows media player

When I try to turn on wmp it comes up with "An Internal Application Error has Occured" and doesn't come on. I have tried to reinstall it but that didn't help then I tried to uninstall it but there was no uninstall setup. Then I tried to delete the folder in Program Files but it wouldn't let me delete some files. Does anyone know what I should do?

    Any help please.

    Hi,
I had the same problem and this got me by, but I had eventually to re-format my HDD as there was some nasty stuff on it!! Anyway here's what I done:
press START then RUN and type in Jscript.dll and then hit ok, repeat for VBscript.dll, one will probably fail but WMP10 will at least run again.....google it there's lots out there about it,
    I hope this help.

P.S. you have to really edit the registry, but as i'm a computer no brainer I just re-formatted, also regedit would not run, some little bug has edited your registry..try it and see, go to START then RUN and type regedit and see if it runs, mines closed it down after about 2 seconds.......

can't say I've had much problems with WMP tbh.

Used it consistently for years despite trying others but lately it's been having hissy fits opening due to the library size.

IF you still don't get it working, try musikcube as an alternative.
