I suffer from a constant sore throat for the last 3 - 4 years. Its been worse since I got a virus and vertigo and ear infection last year. Ive been on klacid anti-biotics so many times so last month I asked my GP for a referral. Hes referred me to Clane ENT on 17th Jan. I havent taken anti biotics but am taking nasonex, locabiotal, exputec and lemsip as I didnt want to just have taken anti-biotics when I go to the ENT. Its been 3 weeks now though and im feeling worse. My throats not as sore but its red raw and has a big white spot on one side. I also have a cough, my necks a bit sore and i have a headache and temperature. I dont know whether I should go back to the doc again and get anti-biotics or just try and stick it out til I get to see the ENT? Any advice would be appreciated

Go to your doctor. By your description, I have a good idea what you have, but discussion about medical diagnosis is not suitable for this forum.
