Blatent reference to the 80's product icon THE KOOL AID man when he bursts into the courtroom saying "OHHHH YEAHHHH!"
A couple of references to THE BRADY BUNCH - namely at the beginning when they are watching the show on TV.
When Peter says that the worst their neighborhood has is "Jemima’s Witnesses", a woman pops up and asks if they want any pancakes. This is AUNT JEMIMA herself, the figurehead for a very popular brand of pancake syrup most noted for the thickness that would allow it to stay on the pancake longer.
When Lois says that bad things happen from a lack of self-esteem, we are shown a German gym where a wimpy ADOLF HITLER is working out and have trouble. Hitler sees a really buffed up Jewish guy surrounded by beautiful women laughing at him. This implies that Hitler's hatred and persecution of the Jewish people was caused by this obviously fictitious event.
When the Griffen family is watching a movie in the theater, Peter says that everything TOM HANKS says is a stitch and busts up laughing when Tom character says "I have AIDS". This was the Hanks film PHILIDELPHIA.
The porno Peter and the guys start watching at the stag party is a direct reference to the classic film CASABLANCA.
Reference to the 1980's action toy/TV show G.I. JOE when they parody it with the G.I. JEW soldier.
One of the 'bad toys' showed on the news cast references the popular POUND PUPPY toys from the '80s.
The angel and devil on Peter's shoulders is likely a parody from the 1978 film ANIMAL HOUSE. This has been done tons of times, so its hard to guess WHICH time this references.
When Peter does a cereal commercial where he's "Caca for CooCoo Puffs" its referencing the classic animated commercials for COCOA PUFFS cereal.
Tiananmen Square (1989) is referenced when Peter says he just went to China to get good fireworks. During this event, Chinese youth stood before military tanks trying to stop them.
Lois mentions her JANE FONDA workout tapes - very popular excercise videos in the '80s.
John Madden and Pat Summerall appear while covering the Super Bowl.
Peter in the blimp is reminiscent of the movie Black Sunday (1977) when a blimp tries to shower the Super Bowl with darts.
The infamous Rainbow Wig Guy / John 3:16 sign holder ("Rockin'" Rollen Stewart) seen at numerous sporting events is seen on the field at the Super Bowl.
Forrest Gump(1994) reference when Stewie says “Life is like a box of chocolates”.
Diff’rent Strokes (1978-1986) episode called “The Bicycle Man” (two parts) is referenced when Peter is on the stand in court for his Welfare fraud.
Stewie's MIND CONTROL DEVICE is similar to the Star Wars JEDI MIND TRICK. I'm sure it was used as a reference.
There is a parody of Dick Clark and Ed McMahon doing their TV's Bloopers & Practical Jokes (1984-1993) show.
On the bloopers show parody there is a parody of Joanie Loves Chachi (1982-1983), a spin off of the popular show HAPPY DAYS.
At the end of the show Peter talks about getting a minority scholarship just like in the movie Soul Man (1986). While it could just be coincidence, known Seth's humor, this is probably a valid reference.
Reference to FOREST GUMP's expression 'Life is like a box of chocolates'. This was another TOM HANKS film Seth borrowed from.
The "Jemima?s Witnesses" is a play on the religious group JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES. This group goes door to door passing out pamphlets called GUARDIANS OF THE WATCHTOWER (you see this on Peter Peter Caviar Eater) - trying to lure people to join their oft-referred to as a 'cult'-like religion. They are very persistant and are 'feared' by many residential area inhabitants as almost stalker-like in their tactics.
The show is named to mimic old dramtic radio shows which has similar sinister, alluring titles. Originally they were going to name all the shows in this manner.
During the fight for the dropped money, we see a guy with a sign made up for the game labeled "John 3:16". This references the rainbow wig wearing sport attendee "ROCKIN'" ROLLEN STEWART - a sex and drug addict reborn Christian that got famous spreading God's word by appearing at sporting events (from 1977 to 1992) holding signs with Biblical references (most famous was John 3:16 which reads "For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." - the basic belief of the Christian faith wrapped up in a single sentance). At one point Stewart was driving over 50,000 miles a year, and traveling to over a hundred sporting events. His career was brought to an end when he was arrested after holding a hotel maid hostage, a subsequent bomb threat, and threat to shoot a pistol at planes landing; all in the name of getting God's good word out to the people.
Stewie's voice is taken from Rex Harrison's Professor Henry Higgins character on MY FAIR LADY (1964).
John Madden contacts FOX Security to take down the blimp that Peter and Brian are flying over the field when they disrupt the game and prevent a great "game of FOOTBALL!!". Both security officers are wearing "JUST ONE FOX" shirts in reference to Fox's late 90s promotional slogan. One of the security officers reaches for the "JUST ONE GUN" on the wall - also a blatant reference to the slogan.
Stewie tries to kill Lois by pushing her down the stairs, crashing his tricycle into her to knock her down. This scene is virtually identical to one in the 1972 film "The Omen," in which Gregory Peck deceives his wife by switching their stillborn child with an orphan named Damien, whom the couple raise as their own child. Damien turns out to be the Antichrist, and nearly murders his mother by crashing his tricycle into her while she is balanced on a catwalk. Stewie is pretty darn similar to Damien, although quite a bit more vocal.
The jester is surprisingly similar to SEINFELD.
After Peter wakes up on the kitchen table, he tries to make up for it by saying what many men say about the importance of their jobs. The I gotta keep food on the table. This is funny because almost simultaneously he rolls off the table taking the food with him.
