what songs that you rarely ever hear anymore were your all time favourites?

i had hundreds of songs that i liked from years gone by, but cant think of so many of them now to download them, so i'm hoping that some of you can help spur my memory. that new honda advertisement reminded me of "the impossible dream' by luther vandross, and since that i've been trying to find all my old favourites, but dunno where to start cos its that long since i heard them.

Heard Junkster's Slide on the radio the other day, brought back some memories. They were such a great band.

Don McLean's "Vincent". Was played at George Bests Funeral. Great song.

Others would be "Free Bird", and that "lets all meet up in the year 2000" song (think by Blur) heard both of them on radio the other day.

It's "Disco 2000" by Pulp from the album Common People. There's also a cover of it by Nick Cave which is very good.
