Eircom Wireless Modem (Netopia)

I applied for Eircoms Wireless router offer last year (around March I think). I paid €50 for it (retail was €140) and it said the minimum contract was 12 months which I took to mean that my broadband contract was extended to that date (March 2006) and I would then own the modem after that. I'm thinking of switching to BTs basic BB&phone deal (speed isn't an issue, upload cap is) sometime in March (by which time the new BB packages will have been announced hopefully).

My question is whether Eircom can ask me to send back the wireless router after I've served the minimum contract? They haven't asked for the standard wired router back.
