You did'nt miss much, Eric Bell did 3 Lizzy songs and then did a blues jam for about an hour while the crowd called for Lizzy songs, Brian Robertson joined him on stage for the jam and was too pissed to play.
A couple of the other acts were good especially the first band on stage.
A band called Southbound finished off the show, this band was excellent and they did about six Lizzy songs which had the place rockin, but then they brought out the man we were all there to see, Brian Robertson.
He could barely play the chords to the songs, he made some pathetic attempts at the solos and dictated to the band the running order of the songs while his own personal roadie ran on stage every few minutes to light his fag.
I do'nt want to dis him too much though, he did do a stirring rendition of James Blunts You're Beautiful:D

Glad you were impressed with the first band (check my sig) seems you would have been better going to the pre-vibe in eamonn dorans on tuesday night. Glyder (the first band last night) played a longer set and some of their own, Eric Bell and Brian Robertson played together for about an hour, and robbo wasn't too drunk to play - although it was a loada blues (which im sure some people love) but i think they could have at least played a few lizzy numbers. The southbound band i was really impressed with too - although the singer looks like he was from maroon 5 :D but his voice done phil justice - they were really good. i didnt get to go last night, but tuesday night was good enough for me!!!
