What a program - I miss it. But most of all I miss the theme tune... best lyrics ever... they meant nothing when I was a kid but now...

Well, I'm not the kind to kiss and tell,
But I've been seen with Farrah.
I'm never seen with anything less than a nine, so fine.

I've been on fire with Sally Field,
Gone fast with a girl named Bo,
But somehow they just don't end up as mine.

    It's a death defyin' life I lead,
    I take my chances.
I die for a livin' in the movies and TV.
But the hardest thing I ever do
    Is watch my leadin' ladies
Kiss some other guy while I'm bandagin' my knee.

I might fall from a tall building,
I might roll a brand new car.
'Cause I'm the unknown stuntman that made Redford such a star.

I never spend much time in school
    But I taught ladies plenty.
It's true I hire my body out for pay, Hey Hey.
    (:v: )

I've gotten burned over Cheryl Tiegs,
    Blown up for Raquel Welch.
But when I end up in the hay it's only hay, Hey Hey.

I might jump an open drawbridge,
    Or Tarzan from a vine.
'Cause I'm the unknown stuntman that makes Eastwood look so fine.

    :v: :v:

Ah the memories :D Fall Guy was definitely one of my favourites when I was a young kid. I'm another one who loved the theme tune even though I didn't understand most of the lyics I carried a lot of them around in my head for years afterwards. I don't remember much specifics about the programme itself except that there were a lot of car crashes and the opening titles showed a car crashing into a train.

Another one on about the same time was CHiPs. Maybe CHiPs was a couple of years earlier. Never forgot the theme tune for that one either

Oh yes yes yes, I remember it well, not because of Lee majors but because of the georgeous Heather Thomas, funny thing is that at that time (early 80's) everybody else was going on about how beautiful Heather Locklear was (Remember her)? not bad I admit, but give me Heather Thomas any day ..............

It was one of my favourites too. But then I haven't seen an ep in years and looking back I've realised I only liked shows where the main guy had a cool truck/van/car (ATeam / KnightRider) etc so it could have been complete rubbish for all I remember. Still, best theme tune ever tho!

They show it from time to time on one of them crappy channels you get with SKY. I am not sure if its Bravo or not.

It was my fav as a kid. I used to want to be a stuntman when I grew up. I'm now grown up and never quite made it as a stuntman. Although its never too late.
