    Hi all,

Got a PSP for Xmas, have what is probably a stupid question but hoping that those in the know might be able to help us technically inept....

Is it possible to load games onto the memory card and play them from there or do you have to have a UMD for every game your going to play?

Yeah it's possible, but such carry-on is illegal and warrants a ban I say. A ban!

It is NOT illegal to load the game onto the memory card if they already own the UMD. But just say borrowing a mates game and copying it is illegal. HOWEVER as it is so easy to just say that it is not discussed on forums as the owners/operators of the site cannot be seen to condone such behavour.

How much space would a game take up on a memory card?

Biggest game i came across was pro evo 5. its 800mb

    Most games are bout 250-450.

But the way is that you must get programmes that rip the data from your psp onto the pc, then you put it back on. But to play these games you will need to have a umd in the psp when playing, so it does not make much sense in the legal sense of playing a game you already own, cause since it requires you to have a umd in the back anyway, might aswell be the game.

But dont talk bout illegal wyas or youll get a ban........

But then i must ask why cant we talk abut the illegal stuff cause "legally" you cant get into any trouble......because forums are place where people discuss matters, if it was illegal surely all the www.hackmypsp.com and al lthem would be closed down, I'd lvoe an amdin to explain the legal bindings of it all

    Cheers.
