Hotel Groups on ISE

    Quick question...might sound stupid but I would appreciate help, it's for a college project. Are there any other hotel groups other than Jurys Doyle on the Irish Stock Exchange? If not, any on the London SE? Thanks!

    Alot of the UK hotel groups are also owners of Casinos and bookmakers.

    Ladbrokes, William Hill, Hilton Group (I don't know them all) etc....
    They are normally classified in the 'Leisure' section of the London Stock Exchange

    I'm out of touch with current takeovers. Gresham hotels used to be on Irish stock Exchange but I'm sure they were bought out (Red Sea consortium if my memory serves me right)

    If it's for a project, bear in mind these hotel groups are asset rich, so their land and property value is normally extremely valuable, and the way this country is going with the saturation of hotels, and lack of hospital beds...... my guess is they will become old age peoples homes, nursing homes of the future.

    Thanks Culchie, helps a lot, appreciate it. Just looking for something to compare the share prices of Jurys Doyle to, some of the London ones should work, thanks again.
