Speaking of Dell bargains......can anyone help me pick out a laptop in the dell sale page. Everytime I click on one for say 949, i click on customise and buy button and 200 quid is added to the price lol. What am I missing?? any bargains out there i should know about?

It'll be used mainly for surfing, wireless would be good, for storing pics not a very heavy usage is what i'm trying to say!

    HELP

(am willing to spend around 1000 btw)

They automatically add 3 year service support, change it to 1 year collect and return and it'll go back down.

I think you can make them cheaper by lowering the amoutn of support you get, from 3 years to 90 days usually saves you money!

You can't always go as low as 90 days though, only on some items.

They might not notice. I know people who got a pc from Dell then an identical one arrived the next week... they kept it :D

I bought a laptop from them last year and they forgot to charge me until 9 months later.

    I could go on..
