Was never a huge Lizzy fan *dont even know why!*.stilll we're playin a few of their songs in the 2 bands im involved in and I enjoy them veryy much....he was a charasmatic figure for many a music fan and that counts a lot,,,,,just as Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull is - *many americans STILL think he IS Jethro Tull!* :p ,,,anyway :
I remember seeing Lynott and the Lizzy gang at my first ever visit to Wembley Arena 1978 to see a Live and Dangerous speacial 2 nighter...*was when that album was ighflying in the charts*,,,,,they played the whole show based on that album,,so Lynnot, Downey, Robinson and Gorahm were on show was a good night.
Indeeed more so for who the veryyy special Guests act were for the night....yeahhh HORSLIPS!!!!...and wow did they ROCK the joint when they went on first ,,,i really went to see them!!!...superb band and what a performance..*sounds or melody maker next day had music headlines "Horslips Steel the show!" and they were right!*....mind yu I did enjoy Lizzy they were excellent that night and Lord Rest poor oul Phill he was good too.....so there ya go..Ol' LOUDMOUTH!! will shut up now :)

    ciao' amigos...Baggio..............
