Wideangle, it's the 3rd of January. It's really time to lay off all that Bristol Cream
you got for Crimbo and get back to reality:-)

It's really not a question of if it's possible, it's more to do with are you prepared to smash your camera in the process, because in all probability, you will. Although I suppose a cheapo throwaway would do the trick, one of them that you give the camera in to get developed.MMMM, sounds like a good idea, I'll let you try first though.;)

How do you plan on actually triggering/releasing the shutter?

It's a bit risky allright, but if you can fly kites allready, and fly them well, is it not worth giving it a bash with a cheap compact you have luying around collecting dust??

fair point i guess. as i have no interest in kites ill just take ur word for it.

    sher tis worth a shot.

spose you could put it on a timer and try n get the kite up quite fast....if thats possible. The waterproof casing you can get for some cams are mostly really robust.Another option is making up an impact frame with bubblewrap and the like, try it and let us know how she goes

A helium baloon would be a darn site safer than a kite IMO.
