    After a drunken night out over the xmas i returned home with a half 50 euro note and can not find the other half,Does anybody know will the central bank refund me if i dropped into them?

    Never thought of putting an ad out,

    The serial number is intact,its a straight split down the middle,all bank notes have a serial number on either side

    AFAIK it has to be 53% of the full note to be accepted.

    Yes they should still accept them. Head down to your local news agent and see if they accpet it first!!

    If the serial number side is the bit you have, then yes. Hence stopping you claiming twice for the same note.
