Im now in my 4th year of Secondary school and im looking for a job but I do not know where to start.I have looked at all the CV Builders but it seems there is no templates for student starting out.

I am looking for a template on which to base my CV as I currently do not know how to create one.I need to know how to structure it into specific areas.

I also need some advice on places in my area that are hiring students (be aware im only 15 though).I do have a lot of experience in the IT scene though.

Im looking for a job that is part time as I can only work on Saturdays and Sundays and possible some Wednesdays.

    Thanks for the help.

Would Dunne Stores/Tesco/The local Centra really need a CV for the work you want to do?

Also, what's the point in having a CV if you've nothing to fill it with? :)

Not sure if they can hire you at 15 though...

Doesn't stop them from asking for it. Ah the joys of seeking your first job.

A standard layout C.V. should do you, just leave out the work experience section. Pretty much every standard C.V. layout should have an education and hobbies section, so you can fill those in.

I'd imagine it would be very hard for you to get an IT job at your age, the best you could probably hope for is a net cafe job.

According to OASIS (http://oasis.gov.ie/employment/employment_rights/protection_of_young_people_in_employment.html), it is legal to work at 15.

i believe i can work unlimited hours though if im emancipated(my parents are not my guardians i am) is that true?

@Stark a net cafe job would be grand actually.I used to help my dad to set up networks, set up the OS on pcs b4 they are shipped, replace parts etc so maybe a tech support job?

doubt it you need signed permission from your parents just to work the 8 hours.
