    I know that some (older?) versions of borland will allow it but the latest version of dev c++ won't let me use it.
    #include <iostream.h>
    #include <string>
    #include <cstdio>
    #include <cstdlib>
    .......
    ........

       	string name;

    Error:
    11 D:\cstuff\lpr2.cpp `string' does not name a type

    Help please
