    PSU calculator! http://www.jscustompcs.com/power_supply/

250W is very low, I'd say you need at least a 400W.
*insert Akaska PaxPower 400W pimpage here* :p

You don't mention what your CPU speed is or if you're using DVD or USB devices, they suck up teh powwah too.

You should have at least a 350W PSU. But make sure it's a decent one. Not one that'll cost you a tenner at ebuyer or dabs.com. Go for one made by Enermax, Antec, Tagan, Seasonic, Akasa or Hiper.

CPU speed is 2.13ghz, I have 2 DVD drives, 1 is a DVD R-W, and there is a fair few USB devices, most wouldnt be on always. Thanks foor your help, would i need more then 400w with the DVD drives etc?

400w should be fine. I have a Be-Quiet 400w and it runs everything dandy. I've got my GFX powered directly by the PSU two extra fans, two optical drives and about 6 USB devices. No bother

My setup is similar to yours(power usage!) but I have 4 HDD's and thought I was cutting it tight with a 400W PSU!!!

You should honestly get a higher wattage PSU as your looks like it could be overloaded very easily and blow!!!!

    Have a look there.

If you add something new, of course it will need more power.
