Im a big fan of black suits, pin stripe or jet black, however I saw a really nice grey suit pinstripe today and I am thinking of getting it. Is there a rule on suit colours? for a paler skinned guy does darker suit, or is grey an all round good colour?

Is it dark grey or light grey?
I know that sounds trivial but I was just wondering.
I find black is generally an all round good colour for any kinda guy.
Grey however I'd say would be quite nice too. Grey might actually be less harsh than black and therefore more flattering.Except perhaps tanned people. It might drain them.
One rule I have-unless you're a black rapper.Don't buy an all white suit!!

as long as the cut is good and the colour doesnt drain you, go for it. Am not really a fan of those brown suits you can get but black/pinstripe/grey = all good! Oh, just don't wear a pink shirt/tie.. :)
