New Year Resolution

Has anyone broken their new year resolution already?
Mine was to stop smoking maryjane i lasted two days and i was back @ square 1. Damn i have no willpower.:rolleyes:

As Allen Carr says "You can't will your way to give up smoking any more than you can will your way to success in life... If you don't want to do something for its own sake, you're not really committed and it's unlikely you'll be able to stick at it."

I recommend his books; but only if you truly want to give up.

Indeed... Though I guess i amn't sure if I really wish to give up i suppose its a phase of conscience I'm going through coz i know i should give up but its ....its sooooo good. and besides i sorta have my life based around it...Well my social life coz all my m8s are stoners.

Mine is to stop being such a moody cow...I'm doing pretty well so far but it's early days...This day could definately be my downfall!!!

You said it; deep down you know you should stop. And you know you will have to stop at some stage.

It is a good hobby (as much as I can remember) for a time but even now you gotta stop every now and how is the comedown ?

All your mates are stoners; but everyone's got to move on at some stage. Don't be the one that life left behind. It's hard to imagine at this stage but there is some much more creative things out there to do....

Unless you are using your buzz to generate some kind of art or music
Or are you just out to get totally wasted as much as possible ?

Didn't make any solid resolutions i.e "I'm going to give up smoking as of December 31st" so haven't anything to break .

I have loads of resolutions but no willpower. However after the death of a close friend in a car crash recently in which I was lucky to make it out with only minor injuries, one of my most important new years resolutions is to take more photographs of close friends and family and let them no how much I love them as much as possible!
